Entry code issues led to a frustrating situation at 2am!!! Additionally, the cramped space didn't accommodate luggage well. Noise from neighboring rooms was distracting, reducing the overall comfort of the stay!!!

The stylish decor was a highlight! 😉 The room was clean and comfortable with complimentary snacks. However, it was a bit tight for our luggage. Overall, a great stay!

The breakfast had a good variety and quality.

The room was painfully small, leaving no space to move around or store our luggage. We had to awkwardly shuffle things just to open the door, which was beyond frustrating. Additionally, the hotel has no elevator, and when we were guided to the second building, we found no staff available to assist us, making our arrival unnecessarily complicated.

Check-in was seamless and the warmth of the front desk clerk put us at ease. Breakfast was delicious, while our room offered exceptional comfort with blackout curtains for a good night's rest.

We loved visiting the iconic filming locations from Game of Thrones and enjoyed some skiing nearby. The location is perfect for grabbing meals, and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast at the sister property was awesome too!

I also expected a room upgrade for my troubles, yet here I am in this small double room with no complimentary gestures. I almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t.

The hotel has a charming atmosphere with its unique cinema-inspired decor that adds a fun character. Its location is excellent, right by the bars in central town, making it perfect for a night out.

There were issues with the views and room types that didn’t match our reservations, creating confusion.

the hotel is really close to the beautiful akureyri botanical garden, making it a great spot for leisurely strolls. You can find some fun cafes just a few steps away for a quick bite or coffee to recharge during your adventures.

staying at dynheimar was a unique experience! the main lounge area had a lovely vibe, reminiscent of a classic cinema. we enjoyed a great breakfast, especially since goðafoss waterfall is nearby, perfect for sightseeing. the atmosphere really added to the charm.

It was just a fine choice for a getaway in Akureyri with all in all brilliant value for money. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh fish, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to check the menu options before you arrive.

The breakfast options were excellent, offering daily fresh fish at the sister property nearby. However, the breakfast area can get crowded, and the limited parking availability posed a slight inconvenience.

Great view from the newer building and helpful staff. Limited parking was frustrating.

The free parking is a major plus, and the cozy vibe of the lobby made for a nice chill after a busy day. Staying here was great for hitting all the local sights easily.
